The pole seems to be fine, but I have had two of the same design fail in the same way. They do not survive the winter. They break at the highest screw joint, and the threads from one piece remain in the other piece. Rust may be involved You need to address this by improving the design of the joint. Your spinner are among the best available, but I won't buy any more if I have to replace the pole every year.

The newer pole, heaver gage material, makes a big difference. I use LOCK tight to keep the poles attachment points from coming unscrewed. Otherwise they get the job done.

The Spinner is top heavy and with the winds in Florida, the small extension piece attached to the bottom anchor was stripped. So glad I could get replacement poles. I just love my Blue Lotus wind spinner along with the second one I bought. They make a lovely pair in my front yard.
