I wanted this light, but the wind spinner I wanted didn't have that as an option. So I made an adaptor...
PARTS:
- 3/4" PVC coupler with both end threaded (painted black, I haven't done this yet)
- 3/4" PVC flat end cap (threaded) (painted black, I haven't done this yet)
- 3/8"-16 short pan head coarse thread screw
- 3/8" lock nut
ASSEMBLY:
- Drill 1/2" hole in end cap
- Screw in screw into lock nut and then unscrew (this makes it easier to screw in the next step)
- Put screw into end cap and partially screw the lock washer onto the screw from the locking end
- Screw the end cap into the coupler
- Unscrew the screw cap on the spinner and screw the new assembly onto the spinner
- Turn on the solar light (there is a switch) and set it into the assembly (not to thick so that you can change batteries in the future)
- Waterproof the solar light and adaptor (e.g., silicon caulk)
