Sturdy and beautiful

I love watching this spin in my backyard! I have it under some trees, next to my back fence and it really is pretty to watch. The colors are very bright and it seems to be holding up very well during some heavy spring rains.

Works well even in the snow

We got two different kinds of wind spinners at the same time. Although the other (more expensive) spinner works okay, this one works better.

It spins faster in lower breezes and the blades spin in opposite directions (the blades on the other spinner go the same direction... fine, but less interesting).

The support post on this one only has a spike as part of the post and a single thick-ish wire welded to the post to drive into the ground for support. The wire did bend as it was driven into our rocky soil. But I did as I intended all along and also wired/attached it to our fence anyway, so it didn't need to be freestanding. (It probably could have done okay anyway)
